Wright Brothers Day

From Wright Brothers National Memorial:

December 17th, 1903—112 years ago today—two brothers from Dayton, Ohio did the impossible.

Wilbur and Orville Wright, after years of rigorous scientific testing and determination, each flew their handmade flyer for the first time—completing the world's first powered, controlled, heavier-than-air flights!

Today, we honor and celebrate Wilbur and Orville Wright, their historic achievement, and modern aviation today!
