Wright Brothers Day #TBT — On this day in 1903 the Wright Brothers made the first successful flight in a heavier than air, mechanically-propelled airplane near Kitty Hawk, NC. In this photo we see two children standing in front of the Wright Brothers National Memorial, made from a granite boulder, which marks the site of the first successful flight made by Orville Wright. This photo was taken on September 7, 1929.
