Sunrise as Seen from the International Space Stattion

From NASA:

Commander Barry “Butch” Wilmore on the International Space Station shared this beautiful image of #sunriseearlier today.

The space station orbits the Earth about every 90 minutes. It circles around the Earth 16 times per day, so astronauts can see 16 sunrises and 16 sunsets each day. During the daylight periods, temperatures reach 200 ºC, while temperatures during the night periods drop to -200 ºC.
