Huron National Wildlife Refuge

From the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Midwest Region:

The first refuge in the Midwest was Huron National Wildlife Refuge. President Theodore Roosevelt set aside this collection of eight small islands as a breeding ground for migratory birds and other wildlife on October 10, 1905.
