Native Fish Restoration

From the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS):

USGS scientists just achieved another milestone for native fish restoration. A whopping 119,000 young lake herring (also called cisco) were stocked into Lake Ontario in September! Reintroduction of these native prey fish will help improve the stability of the lake's food web. Learn more at http://on.doi.gov/1xmdyFr andhttp://on.doi.gov/1qbEstK.
