African dust blows over the eastern Atlantic




The North Atlantic Hurricane Season may have ended on Nov. 30, but African dust still blows over the eastern Atlantic. Dust was captured in this VIIRS instrument image from NASA-NOAA's NPP - Suomi National Polar-orbiting Partnership satellite on Dec. 5 at 8:36 a.m. EST (1336 UTC).
