Fireworks in the Skies

From NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration:

Fireworks are not confined to Earthly skies. The Hubble Space Telescope witnessed a spectacular fireworks display in a small, nearby galaxy that resembled a July 4th skyrocket. This firestorm of star birth lit up one end of dwarf galaxy Kiso 5639, which is shaped like a flattened pancake, but because it is tilted edge-on, it resembles a skyrocket, with a brilliant blazing head and a long, star-studded tail.
