And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
Und wie Mose in der Wüste eine Schlange erhöht hat, also muß des Menschen Sohn erhöht werden, auf daß alle, die an ihn glauben, nicht verloren werden, sondern das ewige Leben haben.
Y como Moisés levantó la serpiente en el desierto, así es necesario que el Hijo del Hombre sea levantado, para que todo aquel que en él cree, no se pierda, mas tenga vida eterna.
