Veniaminof

From USGS Volcanoes:

32 years ago today, on June 2, 1983, Veniaminof began a VEI3 eruption from its intracaldera cone. This eruption produced occasional ash plumes to 25,000 feet, and lava flows onto the ice-filled caldera, generating ice pit lakes.
