Scientists at San Francisco State University say NOAA's DSCOVR satellite could make an important contribution to the search for new planets!
That's pretty cool, but even if it doesn't there's no doubt that DSCOVR will help forecasters at NOAA's Space Weather Prediction Center (http://www.swpc.noaa.gov/) monitor and warn of severe and potentially dangerous space weather events.
