Summer at Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve

From U.S. Department of the Interior:

As this summer is reaching its climax, the lower elevations around Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve are gaining a velvet-green appearance. Wildflowers are in abundance and many berries are ripening. Snow is melting off the mountain tops and providing routes for adventure-seekers to reach the high country. It is a beautiful time of year to be here in Alaska. Photo by J. McFee, National Park Service. — at Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve
