KANSAS CITY, Kan. — The Wyandotte County District Attorney has charged a 44-year-old man for torturing or cruelly beating his 7-year-old son and battering a 29-year-old woman. Michael Jones faces aggravated battery, aggravated assault with a firearm and child abuse in connection with crimes alleged to have happened on Wednesday in the 5200 block of North 99th Street.
