Lava Creek Tuff
From Yellowstone National Park:
This cliff above the Gibbon River is Lava Creek tuff. It was deposited from Yellowstone’s most recent eruption 640,000 years ago. The cliff also marks the approximate caldera boundary. Tags: #nationalpark#caldera#wyoming
