Hundreds of paddlers and thousands of spectators enjoyed the 52nd Annual Athol-Orange River Rat Race on the Millers River on Saturday April 11, 2015. Stored water released from New England District's Birch Hill Dam and Tully Lake Dam raised the river level to provide ideal conditions for paddlers and rescue boats.
