Yesterday, December 1, was Antarctica Day (anniversary of the signing of the Antarctic Treaty in 1959)

Yesterday, December 1, was Antarctica Day (anniversary of the signing of the Antarctic Treaty in 1959). To celebrate, team members from the Nansen Ice Shelf campaign captured photos of themselves with 21 flags created by students as part of “The Antarctica Day Flags Initiative” coordinated by the United Kingdom Polar Network.
