Uranium Resources in South Texas

From the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS):

Texas is already known for its oil and gas wealth, but, as our latest assessment shows, it's got the potential for quite a bit of uranium too! 

We've just released our first assessment of potential uranium resources in South Texas, which estimates 60 million pounds of identified uranium resources and more than 200 million pounds of newly estimated undiscovered resources.
