Arsht Center mourns passing of Natalie Cole, who was to sing in Jazz Roots series later this year

Natalie Cole, who died New Year’s Eve, was slated to play in downtown Miami later this year.

The Adrienne Arsht Center said it would keep her scheduled April 8 appearance on its calendar, but was seeking a new performer to join the Christian McBride Trio that night as part of the center’s long-running Jazz Roots series.
