Aboard the International Space Station, Expedition 42 Commander Barry Wilmore of NASA and Flight Engineer Samantha Cristoforetti of the European Space Agency discussed their research activities aboard the laboratory and life away from Earth during the holiday season during a pair of in-flight interviews Dec. 30. Wilmore has been aboard the complex since late September while Cristoforetti has been living and working on the outpost since late November.
