Disaster Survivors of the Yukon River (ID: 67174)

Fort Yukon, Alaska, July 6, 2013 -- Paul Herbert who is a subsistence fisherman and hunter lost his salmon mill during the severe flooding that struck the northern territories of the Yukon river. Individual Assistance in the form of Other Needs Assistance (ONA) grants are being provided for subsistence area registrants to provide relief from the loss of the salmon mill and the loss of the fish that will not be caught and harvested in order to survive the brutal winters in the Unorganized Borough.
