Typhoon Atsani

From NASA's Hurricane Web Page:

NW PACIFIC OCEAN - Typhoon Atsani Moving Through the Northwestern Pacific
Typhoon Atsani's winds have weakened to 75 knots. It was located near 30.6 North latitude and 146.6 East longitude, about 447 miles southeast of Yokosuka, Japan. Atsani is moving to the northeast at 7 knots.
Fortunately, Atsani isn't threatening any land areas today.
This infrared image of the storm was taken today from the VIIRS instrument aboard NASA-NOAA's Suomi NPP satellite. The yellow color indicates the coldest, highest thunderstorms with the heaviest rainfall. The VIIRS image shows that the strongest side of Atsani is its eastern side.
Atsani is moving northeast and will gradually weaken before becoming an extra-tropical system as it turns northeast, staying well to the east of Japan.
