Backcountry Ranger Surrounded by Frosty Trees

From Great Smoky Mountains National Park:

Wintry precipitation is falling in the highest elevations this morning, while in the lower elevations, we're currently getting rain. Temperatures are expected to drop throughout the day however, so wet surfaces are expected to freeze. With all the moisture in the soil and the air, tomorrow may be one of those incredibly beautiful mornings with thick frost and a clear, blue sky.
