Look for Neptune Tonight

From Capitol Reef National Park:

Look for Neptune tonight, September 4, 2017. It will be at its closest approach to Earth. However, unless you have a telescope, Neptune will look like a tiny blue dot. Tomorrow, September 5, 2017, look to the east to find Neptune in front of the constellation Aquarius. It will be “at opposition” and Neptune’s face will be fully lit by the Sun, so it will be brighter than at any other time of the year.
